Five Can’t Miss Restaurants for ETHDenver #BUIDL

ETHDenver is happening from March 2-5, 2023, but Ethereum enthusiasts might find themselves traveling to Denver for the #BUIDL week leading up to the conference. The community-minded cryptocurrency is also organizing a ski trip in the Breckenridge area following the conference. All of this is to say, you might be in Denver for a spell, which means you’ll have plenty of chances to eat.

Map your food tour starting with a hotel near ETHDenver

The conference’s events will mostly be clustered in the artsy RiNO (River North) neighborhood, which is chock-full of cool restaurants, breweries, and bars. ETHDenver has partnered with Crewfare to bring you great deals on your event travel and hotels.

Denver Central Market 

Honestly, this post could have easily just been a guide to the restaurants inside Denver Central Market, a gourmet take on the food court. With indoor and outdoor communal seating and eleven different vendors clustered inside, everyone traveling in your group can come here, eat together, and be happy. There’s everything from pizza at Vero to salads and Green Seed to modern, updated “kid” food at Lunchboxx. Stop by High Point Creamery on the way out for a flight of ice cream.

The Source Market Hall

Once you’ve exhausted all your options at Denver Central Market, you can start sampling at the Source Market Hall, a “culinary complex” with a collection of restaurants ranging from Safta’s Middle eastern food to Temaki’s take on the sushi bar. There’s also Thai Ice Cream sandwiches at Melted. Many of the vendors here have their own sit-down restaurants, unlike at Denver Central Market, where the seating is communal.

Beckon 

 Foodies who travel to ETHDenver should be eager to snag a seat at Beckon, which offers fine dining in an intimate space. It’s known for its seasonal prix fixe tasting menus, delicious food, and cozy ambiance. If you forget to make a reservation, don’t worry, you may be able to find an open chair at its chef’s counter.

10 Barrel Brewing

No list of restaurants in Denver would be complete without at least one brewery, so welcome to 10 Barrel Brewing, a great place to start (or end, or continue) your Denver beer tour. With their wide selection of beers, yummy pizzas and other snacks, it’s a great place to relax with your fellow #BUIDLers after hours. They have beer flights so you can find the perfect ale, then walk back to your hotel.

Mister Oso is a Mexican inspired restaurant offering tacos, tapas plates, and cebiches. This is a popular spot for drinks, including their frozen cocktails and spiked aguas frescas.
